About the Teacher

My name is Celeste Hackett, BCH, CPHI and I became a hypnotist after a long and rewarding career as a major market Radio announcer. I first started my trainnig in Houston with the Path Foundation. Then, after extensive reading, I became enthralled by the teachings of Calvin Banyan (5-PATH and 7th Path) and went on to be enthusiastic student and supporter.

I knew right away that this work could powerfully impact the world and I set to learning it with the vigor that only someone who realizes its worth will. Currently, as of this writing, I see up to 20 clients a week at my home office in Plano, Texas (just north of Dallas). My business grossed about $34,000.00 in its first year and in my second year more than doubled that-rough calculations indicate 74, 000.00 in 2007.

I candidly share my journey about growing my business in articles at Cal Banyan's website E-zine on www.hypnosis.org (many are also listed on this site). I also lstarted the first grass-roots study group for 5-PATH hypnotists who wanted on-going support and encouragement. Can you really make money as a hypnotist?
Yes! With this method you will learn the hypnotic techniques, once mastered that put you in the top 1% of hypnotists. You can be your own boss and open a healing center, or even work from home. Using 5-PATH hypnosis you will see amazing healing changes in your clients plus you’ll make money doing it! 5-PATH Hypnosis is the best kept secret for being REALLY successful at being a great hypnotist fast.

What sort of education or background do you need to get certified?
The best hypnotists are people who have an interest in helping others change their lives. Nurses, teachers, massage therapists, psychologists and doctors all make good hypnotists. Also I’ve known wonderful hypnotists who come from othe from other back grounds such as stay-at-home moms, computer programmers, lawyers, salespersons, teachers, and my background as a radio broadcaster. The common denominator seems to be the desire to help others and an interest in how the mind can heal the human condition.

Can you give an example of someone who became a successful hypnotist?
YES, Me! I chronicle the story of the growth of my business which I started in my apartment January 1st 2006 in the articles section on this website. I started with my 5-PATH training, a website, an ad in the phone book, books and research materials and office supplies.

My first year in business I grossed approximately $34,000.00. This was as I was learning HOW to use 5-PATH technique and how to run a business successfully (something I had never done before). In my second year in business I grossed about $74,000.00.

Is there on-going support and help while you are learning?
Yes, 5-PATHERS are a very close-knit community and experienced 5-PATH hypnotists often reach back to help others. The number one reason any 5-PATH hypnotist is successful is because of the on-going support that is available. There are materials you can purchase, a message board and an on-line study group. Also, in the planning stages now - a mentorship program for Family First Hypnosis graduates.

What sorts of problems do 5-PATH hypnotists see and work with?
We work with every day people with every day problems. We do not work with mental illness and we only work with medical conditions if we have a referral from a physician. Some of the clients I have seen recently are for Weight loss, stopping smoking, fear of performing (singer), overcoming emotions due to betrayal by a spouse, habitual sadness, adjusting to life changes including a move and a breakup, overcoming blocks to career success, better concentration, hair pulling, bedwetting, overcoming grief over the passing of a loved one, panic attacks (doctor referred) overcoming anger, and many others. I see up to 20 clients per week Monday through Friday.

How long are the classes? Where are they? How much do they cost?
The classes are held in Plano, TX, a suburb of Dallas, Texas. They run either for two weeks Monday through Friday with the weekend off in between. The classes, at this writing, cost $1995.00 when you sign up at the last minute, but as $1795.00 when you sign up early (more than 8 weeks ahead). The classes may cost less at times for special promotions. NO one will be enrolled less than 3 weeks in advance. There is no at the door price unfortunately. You have to get your registration fee in at least 3 weeks in advance.

Is there a governing board or a ethics board for 5-PATH hypnotists?
To be certified as a 5-PATH hypnotist at Family First Hypnosis also means you will be certified with the National Guild of Hypnotists a very large and prestigious governing body for hypnotists founded in 1951. http://www.ngh.net.
