Belgium's queen Fabiola was sedated at the age of 80 for surgery using hypnosis. Apparently the University Hospital of Liege is famous for using hypnosis in this way. They have done more than 4000 surgeries with hypnosis and they find it is especially good for the elderly because general anaesthetics can have dangerous.... side-effects. Check out the article at: |
