#1 Reason Parents
Use Hypnosis?
LEARNING
IMPROVEMENT!
When
it comes to school there are many problems kids can develop. We
help with: Getting Homework Done, Classroom Performance, Liking
school, Improving grades, Friendliness, Low self-esteem, Reading,
Writing, Memory, Better Grades, Peer Pressure, Friendship issues,
and more.
Why does Hypnosis work so well
with Children?
Hypnosis works so well with children because they have fewer imprints
and less years of reinforcement in their minds. Their subconscious
is highly receptive because, as children, they are literally creating
the structure of their inner library and its beliefs, impressions
and life experiences. These will affect them for the rest of their
lives. For this reason children have a natural drive and hunger
for new experiences and ideas. They love to discover things and
are very open to learning, receiving and even responding to new
ideas.
It is commonly known among
hypnotists that Children are the very best subjects by far! Children
aged 6 or older respond best to hypnosis. Most Children only need
2-3 sessions with improvement beginning from the very first session.
Parental
Support Very Important
As in any intervention with children, it is important for parents
to be present and informed. During sessions the parent is either
relaxing nearby in the background or waiting outside the hypnosis
office. Parents are supportive and encouraging, but really don't
play any part in the actual sessions.
First
Session
In the first session, just as with adults, the child identifies
the problem and decides what kind of outcome they want. It is also
a time of building rapport and trust between child and hypnotist.
During this session the child is evaluated to determine that they
are willing to work with the hypnotist and that they want to change.
We use
the power of your childs Imagination
Most children reach powerful levels of hypnosis far faster than
adults. We may use one or any of the following to help transform
a child while in hypnosis: Stories, visualizations, imaginative
games, role playing, magic, puppets, costumes and any other tool
we feel we may need!

areas with Children:

A
Little Homework Can Make a Difference
Children are sometimes given homework. This could involve keeping
a diary, listening to a recording at bed time, drawing pictures
or some other simple exercises. Hypnosis is about empowering the
child to help him or her self, and it is important that the little
one builds confidence and the belief that they did most of the work
in solving the problem themselves.
No Side Effects
or Risks
Hypnosis, done right, poses neither risk whatsoever nor any adverse
effects. Hypnosis is about learning things you didnt know
you knew and controlling things you didnt think you could.
Its about using daydreams and imagination, thinking deeply
and learning how to get your own mind to work for you instead of
against you.
| Please Note: Hypnosis is a very
powerful method for change and has helped thousands of American
children to make all sorts of changes in their lives. But
.Hypnosis
is not mind control. For instance, not even the most excellent
hypnotist can MAKE a child change behaviors if they really don't
want to or if the parents continue to make opposing non-supportive
or non-encouraging suggestions in their day to day life. (If
you find you are getting in the way of your child's progress
feel free to ask about sessions for yourself. No one is born
a perfect parent and sometimes we all need a little extra help.)
We, also, can
not accurately predict how many sessions your child will need.
Most little ones, but not everyone, begin to experience the
benefits from the very first session and most children are
happily finished in 2-3 sessions.
We limit the
number of hypnosis sessions for each issue to 6 sessions in
most cases. If it takes more than 6 session's hypnosis may
not be right for your child. Ultimately, you and your child
are responsible for the changes that occur as a result of
your hypnosis sessions. Rest assured, however, that we will
not attempt hypnosis on a child if we do not believe he/she
is ready and willing.
It is because
of these aforementioned reasons that we can not guarantee
success, but actually, this is true in any situation where
a professional is trying to help you. There is always a human
factor. Doctors don't guarantee that you will get well. Teachers
do not guarantee you will learn. Lawyers do not guarantee
you will win your case. Having said that, we think you will
be pleased with the results of the sessions! And we look forward
to seeing you and your child.
What we do guarantee is the
very best hypnosis services, using the most current information
and proper techniques for you and your child's problem.
