About the Hypnotist

 

 
 
Hi! My name is Celeste Hackett, and I’m a Board Certified Hypnotist (BCH) with the National Guild of Hypnotists, one of the oldest and largest hypnosis organizations in the world. I’m also a Certified Professional Hypnosis Instructor (CPHI).  I started out my professional life as a radio announcer (Celeste Matthews),  but later became a hypnotist after feeling a growing desire to do something to help ease the pain of humanity. In other words, I wanted to help people.  
 
Once I became a hypnotist, I wasn’t getting the kind of results I wanted; so I began an in-depth search to look for the best advanced training I could find. And, after extensive reading, I became enthralled with the teachings of Calvin Banyan, founder of 5-PATH and 7th Path. These teachings helped me to finally have a successful hypnosis business (after 3 failed attempts), and also to have the kind of wonderful successful outcomes with clients that I had dreamed of. 
 
Currently, as of this writing (February 2009), I see up to 20 clients a week at my home office in Plano, Texas (just north of Dallas). My business is in its fourth year of life and is prospering nicely. Some of my accomplishments in the world of hypnotism are as follows:

·         HYPNOSIS STUDY GROUP: I founded the first online interactive study group for 5-PATH hypnotists who wanted on-going support and encouragement. I am very willing to share information on how to start your own hypnosis study group. You just may make life-long hypno-friends this way. I did!
 
·          WEB TV SHOW: I co-hosted a weekly video/audio WebTV show with Calvin Banyan called “Cal Banyan’s Hypnosis Etc with Celeste Hackett. You can access it at www.calbanyan.com. These shows offer absolutely free advanced training. They really are awesome and we have viewers all over the world! Check out the archives! I think you’ll love the series on 10 Keys to starting a professional practice on a shoestring.
 
·          STATE SCHOOL FOR HYPNOTISTS: I started one of only two state certified hypnosis schools in Texas. (We are working on changing the name of the school with the Texas workforce commission. You can currently access career training information at http://www.familyfirsthypnosis.com/training, but we should have a new website up soon: www.dallashypnosiscareertraining.com.) Getting any sort of career school certification in Texas is a grueling process. I don’t think I’d do it again, if I had it to do over!
 
·          MAYORAL PROCLOMATION: I garnered city approval from the Mayor of the city of Plano, Texas for a proclamation marking January 4th as World Hypnotism day. The proclamation is on the wall in my hypnosis office! Check out www.worldhypnotismday.com for more information on how to get a proclamation in your town.
